Chasity Langman PMHNP-BC, MSc
Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Master of Science in Counseling
Chasity studied psychiatric nursing at Vanderbilt University and holds a MS in counseling. Chasity is currently accepting new patients for both therapy and medication management.
Chasity utilizes an eclectic counseling approach that blends various aspects of humanistic psychotherapy, person-centered psychotherapy, and many others based on the individual patient’s needs. The basis of these counseling modalities builds on creating a strong therapeutic patient-provider relationship, empowering the client, and assisting the client in searching for answers from within themselves.
She sees a variety of mental health conditions and populations, ages 14+ for medication management and 10+ for counseling. She believes in using a holistic approach to balance the eight dimensions of well-being.
In the past, Chasity has enjoyed working with minority and marginalized community members, veterans, those experiencing relationship concerns, recovery from toxic relationships, childhood trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, education-related stressors, career transitions, parenting concerns, expectant and new mothers, and many others. Chasity has a passion for serving her clients and prides herself on being an inclusive provider, welcoming everyone who would like mental health support.
In her free time, she enjoys moments with her children, dog (Kasey), and cat (Zara), time with friends and family, traveling, teaching, mentoring first-generation college students, enhancing her spiritual connection, painting, attending music festivals and concerts, and enjoying the outdoors.
