Below are some answers to other Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Integrative psychiatry challenges conventional psychiatry by not only focusing on physical symptoms, but also the mental, emotional, and environmental aspects of a patient’s well-being. We want to dive deeper, and really understand the mind-body connection.

Beyond medications, we believe providing therapy in a non-judgmental, safe space is important so that you can understand your thoughts and feelings, and ultimately develop effective coping strategies to handle life’s challenges. In integrative psychiatry, we might touch on nutritional psychiatry, recommend supplements, order labwork or genetic testing, explore finding and forming healthy relationships, and recommend lifestyle changes or complementary therapies.

At La Lune Integrative Psychiatry, we believe in customizing your treatment plan. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.

  • We treat primarily anxiety, depression, insomnia, bipolar spectrum, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, phobias, panic attacks, and difficulty with major life changes. There may be certain instances where we might refer to higher level of care if we feel you could benefit from extra support. We are currently only providing telehealth services at this time, so we have some limitations in terms of obtaining a comprehensive physical assessment.

  • We accept most commercial insurance plans, and can provide you a receipt if you have out-of-network benefits to obtain reimbursement. Many of our patients only have to pay a small copay.

Please send us your insurance card information so we can assist you with verifying your eligibility and benefits.

We are not contracted with Medicaid government plans and therefore cannot see patients covered by these plans at this time.
